At the time of its construction, the Ronald M. Hubbs Center for Lifelong Learning was believed to be the first of its kind in the nation; designed from the ground up specifically to address the literacy needs of adults.
Employing state-of-the-art computer technology in all of its computer labs and classrooms, the center offers the adult learner a stimulating and user-friendly environment to gain literacy skills. In addition to computer labs, the center contains:
- Seminar rooms
- Administrative space
- A library/media center
- A drop-off childcare center
As part of the facility, space is provided to other community agencies offering support services to adult learners.
